Port Awarded $500,000 for Mukilteo Parking Project
We are proud to announce that Washington State has appropriated $500,000 to the Port of South Whidbey to design, permit, and begin construction on a parking facility in Mukilteo in collaboration with the Tulalip Tribes. South Whidbey desperately needs overnight parking in Mukilteo to facilitate tourism and economic development. The parking lot would provide 250 parking stalls within a short walk to the new Mukilteo multimodal facility, and it is the goal that approximately 100 stalls will be designated for use for overnight parking at for walk-on visitors to Whidbey. Click here for our press release. THANK YOU for your support!
