SUMMARY:W.I. Fine Art Studio: Evelyn Woods workshop
DESCRIPTION:Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio: Evelyn Woods workshop. Still Life Drawing with Charcoal/Subtractive Drawing Technique. In this workshop\, students will engage in the process of drawing using the technique of subtractive drawing.  We will be working on gesso primed paper utilizing a variety of drawing tools including brushes\, an array of erasures\, sandpaper\, exacto knives and turpentine. Beginning with a solid black prepared paper\, students will render through direct observation the form and light of the still life while giving consideration to how much visual information is necessary for the image to be convincing.

DESCRIPTION:The Board of Commissioners of the Port District of South Whidbey Island will be convening a Special Meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Monday\, June 25\, 2018\, in the Port office conference room located at 1804 Scott Road in Freeland. The primary purpose of the Special Meeting will be for the Commission to address the items in the attached Draft Agenda \, and public participation is not on the agenda.  In addition\, the Commissioners will hold a public Work Session.  Work Sessions are public meetings that provide an opportunity in an informal workshop format for the Board to review and discuss general Port business.  No actions will be taken during the Work Session. \n  \nIt should be noted that the next regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Tuesday\, July 10th at 6:30 p.m. in Grigware Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church at 18341 WA-525\, Freeland\, WA\, (note this is the older church building right on the highway) and that Meeting will include public participation.
