DESCRIPTION:The Island Betties\, Brittany Ford & Rhianna Olson\, established the “Race on The Rock” Barrel Racing Series in 2025 after recognizing the need for a group dedicated to barrel racing on Whidbey Island. Our goal is to provide a supportive\, fun environment with safe ground conditions where barrel racing is accessible to riders of all ages\, riding disciplines\, and skill-levels. We are committed to making this an annual series where we continue to grow together (Think more added money\, better awards\, more races\, food trucks!). We encourage those who are new to the sport come join us for one or all of our races (and please\, bring your friends!). Spectators are encouraged to come enjoy the races as well!\n\n\nOur races are NWBHA District 1 co-sanctioned\, giving NWBHA members the opportunity to qualify for NWBHA State Finals and earn District 1 points without leaving the island!

Please don’t park on the grass as a courtesy and especially since it has been so wet lately. \nIf you’re not already a member\, you can sign up for a membership on our website.
