DESCRIPTION:Painting from Life \n​ \nJuly 13 – 16 \n$750 (plus model fee) \nSkill level: intermediate to advanced \n​ \n​ \nIn this workshop students will paint from a live model\, alla prima (direct painting).  In an effort to express and reflect the character of the model\, students will paint realistically\, carefully observing form\, and be inspired by the Old Masters. \nMax will give painting demonstrations and critique every student’s work\, daily.  Painting methodology will be taught and evaluated.  The concern will be with design\, proportions\, relationship of shapes\, values and color based on careful observation of the form. \n​
