DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Island County 4-H!\nWe are a youth organization with a mission of engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of positive youth development. It is open to all youth\, ages 5 to 19. \nThough typically thought of as an agriculturally focused organization as a result of its history\, 4-H today focuses on citizenship\, healthy living\, science\, engineering and technology\, and animal science. \nIn addition to the club structure that many are familiar with\, Washington State University 4-H offers activities for families that can be done outside of a commitment to a club\, and resources for educators to use in their classrooms.
