DESCRIPTION:National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police/first responder-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer and more caring place to live. This year\, on August 6th\, 2024\, at 1pm to 4:00pm\, communities across the nation will come together to celebrate unity\, promote safety\, and showcase the importance of collaboration among residents and local organizations. \nWe hope that community members will enjoy our informational booths (resources\, handouts\, “SWAG”)\, interactive displays (VR\, Vehicle Displays\, Less-Lethal tools\, etc.)\, volunteer engagement (Q&A sessions)\, as well as a great opportunity to meet other organizations that assist and work with our local first responder groups. \nBy visiting our National Night Out\, you will have the opportunity to observe/participate in: \n**Connection with the Community:** Engage directly with community programs\, fostering relationships\, and building trust.\n**Promote Safety and Awareness:** Receive important safety information and resources that can benefit residents.\n**Demonstrate Support:** Show your commitment to community well-being\, the values of unity\, and solidarity.\n**Raise Awareness:** Be informed about your community’s organization’s mission\, services\, and initiatives.\n**Have Fun!:** Join in on the festivities\, enjoy activities\, and celebrate the strength of our community together.
