Fairgrounds Rental Facilities Descriptions Rates
The Port of South Whidbey became the new stewards of the Island County Fairgrounds on March 31, 2017. The non-profit Island County Fair Association has called the Fairgrounds home since 1937, where they continue to manage and run the agricultural Whidbey Island Fair every July. Other businesses also rent space to operate their business the other eleven months out of the year.
The Fairgrounds also has a Campground, and many event rental opportunities for fundraisers, dances, music events, outdoor events, festivals, flea markets, garage sales, art shows, food & beverage events, and handmade artisan markets.
Various rental opportunities:
- Five Event Venues for Rent: Skarberg “Pole” Building, Turner Building, Burrier East Building, Malone Building, or Coffman “4H” Building
- Outdoor Event Capability
- Two Commercial Kitchens: Catering (Pole) or Incubator (Coffman)
- Two Stages: Outdoor (Main Stage) or Indoor (Pole)

Fairgrounds/Campground Property Manager
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Office is located on the upper level of the white building near the gazebo in the Fairgrounds; enter via south-facing deck and door.
Fairgrounds maintenance staff on-site Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
