Join us for a one-night-only concert featuring Jennifer Mansfield Peal and special guests Russell Clepper, Sarah Dial Primrose, Bekah Zachritz, and more at the Whidbey Island Fairgrounds on July 7th at 7:00 p.m. The show will take place in Studio Bee and tickets will be available for a suggested donation of $15 at the door.
Jennifer Mansfield Peal is a talented folk singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She is known for her unique characters and stories in her music and was even named one of the Best Folk Songwriters in North Texas by CBS in 2010. From 2012-2014, she hosted the popular radio show “Everybody’s Folk” on KNON 89.3 FM in Dallas. In 2015, she and her family settled in the beautiful San Luis Valley of southern Colorado.
Her newest album of original songs, “Receiver,” was released in 2022 and will be available for purchase at the concert, as well as streaming on Spotify and Apple Tunes. For more information about Jennifer and her music, including songs, stories, and photos, visit www.jennimansfieldpeal.com.
As Townes Van Zandt once said after hearing her song “Two Sisters,” “How’d you learn to write a song like that?” And as Russell Clepper noted after following her around from campfire to campfire at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 2000, “You’ll not hear nothing like the mighty Jenn.”
