As previously announced, a Public Hearing and first reading of the 2022 Redistricting Proposal will be held by the Port Commission of South Whidbey Island on Monday, August 1, at 4:00 p.m. at the Freeland Library Meeting Room, 5495 Harbor Ave, Freeland WA 98249 (with virtual access via Zoom Meeting Service).  The second reading of the redistricting proposal and potential adoption of the proposal is scheduled during the Regular Meeting on August 9, 2022.

A Special Meeting will immediately follow the Public Hearing (at approximately 4:15 p.m.).   The primary purpose of the Special Meeting will be for the Commission to address the items listed on the Agenda Aug 1-22 Public Hearing+Special, and public participation is not on the agenda for the Special Meeting.
